Disturbingly high concentration in Greenland, but otherwise looks like a solid 80% got it right

WTF are you talking about? Only 16% correctly identified the location of Ukraine. That's about what we would expect. If you asked random Americans to pinpoint Italy or Japan on a map, maybe you'd get 80% correct responses. Maybe.

Many of those are clearly people just fricking with the people asking (or they were children)

I'm good a geography, but I have no problem admitting that I can't name all those eastern Europeon countries.

Would this be any different than asking someone in Europe where North Dakota is?

Ukraine has a bit more history than North Dakota.

seriously doubt 80% of random Americans would get that right. T

it was not anywhere near 80% of the dots you posted.

25%

You're not counting Alaska. A really concerningly high concentration of dots there.

My wife is from Ukraine. I’ve actually witnessed people ask her how long it takes to drive there from Louisiana.

I'm impressed you didn't write "the Ukraine".

Ukrainians hate that, btw. It's just "Ukraine".

The very article you referenced said around 16% were accurate, not 80%.
