Huge lie shut down that only females get cervical cancer

The UK’s leading cervical cancer charity was responding to a hashtag that trended on Twitter over the weekend insisting that “only females get cervical cancer”.
“We’re aware a hashtag is trending that raises the issue of gender identity and cervical health,” Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust tweeted on July 12.
“At Jo’s we want to ensure everyone with a cervix has access to the information and support they need to attend #CervicalScreening, regardless of their gender identity

Wow.
Wow.
I dealt with this shite throughout my 20s, admittedly got it removed when it was on “severe pre-cancer” level which is basically cancer-lite. A step before it’s real cancer. And it was STILL terrible. I had to get what felt like a stapler inside of me every 3 months and the. had to have a super invasive procedure that still probably isn’t a huge deal but was horrible back then.
And some idiot without a cervix is doing this.

“Identifying” as a different gender than your actual gender doesn’t make you that gender any more than “identifying” as a bird gives you the ability to fly.
