They fire the server immediately and profess to not want to be racist and yet no second chance. Glad people are trying to be the bigger man and check out the situation for themselves.
That's not how damages work. And I doubt any punitive damages to teach Huck Finn's a lesson for the server that was hired in April 2015 will amount to much.

They should have comped the whole bill. Wouldn't be a thing if they got their whole meal for free, which is obviously what they were looking for.
Comping $60 isn't fun, but it would have saved the place embarrassment. It's so crappy for me to say this, but every time a certain person complained about their fried shrimp or fish I comped the whole meal so I wouldn't have to deal with crap like this.

I think not typing the n word on the recipt would have been a better way to save them from embarrassment

It seems like it would be worth it for these companies to program their software to filter out or not allow racial slures to be input.
