HTX Property Tax Check-in

Without the recent property tax relief vote that took place 2 weeks ago, my bill was going to be ~$9000. Thank God it’s only ~$8000. A 220% increase from last year

It’s crazy. Been looking at places to buy and it’s been all over the place. shite can be $1000 to $1200 more per month across the street.

Don’t worry all these assessors will surely reassess the properties when the prices go down because of interest rates.

You must have a big ole house in Rich-town. I pay $2700 a year near Cypress. 3500 sf 2 story

bullshite. I’ve been looking all over Houston and I’ve seen $1,400 to $2100 a month in Taxes depending on the neighborhood.

Yup. Those good roads, high schools with 100mil stadiums, and all come at a price I suppose. All of my family and friends in Texas are constantly bitching about how much the property taxes keep going up.

Travis and Williamson county is out of control. $1200-$1500 a month for many homeowners.

Id gladly pay that instead of the 25k i paid to the state of LA in income tax last year

ETA plus 5k in property tax
