If she’s not charged with battery then why have laws and a justice system?? I’m sure some lawyer in here who was raised by his mother and has an ample supply of skinny jeans has a rational answer as to why she wouldn’t.

would charge her with aggravated battery.
Not me. I'd tie her up and let the victim beat the shite out of her with a baton.
"you're free to get your licks in. Don't stop until your arm gets tired or you break the baton.

Would definitely make track and field more of a spectator sport with increased revenue possibilities. You need rules though, like no battering with batons until the final turn.
For shot put and discus, make them go barefoot and spread broken glass outside the circle. It would cut down on foot faults.

If something isn't done she can sue the shite outta the high school system
That would be a layup lawsuit
Also what high school is the criminal from, seems like their social media deserves some punishment

A thin, hollow, open ended aluminum tube. At least that’s how they were made when I was running track ~2008. Think an empty hair spray can or coors bottle, but even lighter and more flimsy.
I also find it hard to believe it fractured her skull, but also can’t believe the other girl wasn’t walked out of the stadium in cuffs.

What are those batons made out of? She went down pretty hard
same thoughts here - I thought they were pretty light, maybe even cardboard

Background checks for batons now!

Unclear if they'll face charges?! Put that bitch in jail.

Concussion and fractured skull?
X to doubt on that one.
I carried many of those batons around many tracks.
They are hollow aluminum tube that weigh next to nothing and they are maybe 10-12 inches long... hardly an implement of destruction. If the girl managed to catch her with the folded edge she might have gotten a cut or gash, but no girl is fracturing a skull with that or giving anyone a concussion.
Still.. that's some hood rat behavior.

Interesting
Looks like the 4 x 400 relay. You normally only run the first leg in your lane, subsequent runners normally waterfall in after that and the judges will just line the runners up to take the handoff depending on the order their teammates are arriving at the line.
Eta: oh it was 4 x 200. Not sure about that one. That wasn't my race I ran 400-1600m. But it does look like they are waterfalling in on the last leg...

Tucker suffered a concussion and a potential skull fracture.
This sounds like total bullshite. Those batons are made to be VERY LIGHT….. like a hollow tube made of aluminum or carbon fiber. Barely larger or heavier than a paper towel roll tube. It would be almost impossible to cause those kinds of injuries with a relay baton.

Because holding her accountable for her actions is obviously racist. Nothing is ever her fault. In fact, it’s our fault.
