I know alot of his material is works/bits,
but what about the segments with his staffers? Are those set up? Last week he tore into JD for his announcing his engagement on Twitter and not the show and JD acted pretty embarrassed.
It didn't sound like a bit. But then moments later Howard plays these song parodys about JD or whichever staffer they're talking too.

Well to be honest, he has about 10,000 song parodies for every staffer. It usually takes a day for Little Mikey or Psych to spit out one which is topical to whatever new issue that person has caused.

I think they are bits even with the staffers. They basically have unscripted characters they play. Guarantee you after something like that is over, they all laugh about it.

Anytime Benjy is on air now it's a bit. The JD overreaction was also a bit. Since Marci took over the show it has sucked. It's nothing but staff and wack pack updates.

Honestly, the second he interviewed Ellen Degeneres, the show was over. Ellen made sure Howard didn't get on American Idol. Sorry, but I couldn't think of any way in hell the old Howard would have her on.

Daily listener since 1/9/06, id say that most of the staff stuff is the only non bit stuff.
He's been busting JD, bababooey, benjy, sal and Richard forever for some of the best material.
Memet and his MMF manwhore stuff has been great too.
The JD stuff is real. Dude is a full sail graduate from Tampa and can barely speak coherent English, but he is good a pulling clips.
