He became a combination of his mother and father. You know, the ones he always wanted to goof on?

What a fricking cuck. He needs to stay in his basement and never to surface in public again.

What's funny is that Howard would probably agree with most of what has been said on here. He has already admitted that he loves being a recluse, is afraid of Covid, the pandemic was perfect for him, he has a slue of mental problems, etc... Don't see what the uproar is about. He has admitted all of this hundreds of times on air.

Because this is the type of dude that would what you shuttled off to an island for not being vaccinated so he can still stay in his basement. People like him are dangerous.

If you started listening to him in the mid 90's and think about who he is today vs who he was all those years, that's what the uproar is about. It's not an uproar, it's just looking back and saying "wow, how sad". I get that people change as they get older, but Howard did a complete 180 and became what he used to despise.

I really hope that Rogan sometime soon says on his podcast that Howard became Don Imus. The meltdown from Howard over that insult would be incredible. I guarantee he’ll be delusional enough to say that anyone that goes on Rogan’s podcast from this day forward will be banned from his show and no one but Jimmy Kimmel will give a shite. If you’re trying to sell a book, if you get on Rogan it’s estimated your book sales go up by a million bucks in a single day, so like anyone is going to give a shite about Howard anymore.

Yeah but his crazy used to be entertaining because he was fearless and didn't give a shite. Now he's all about people pleasing the MSM and could just as easily sit in as a guest host on The View. That's not the person he was and what made him so successful.

Yeah, but I don’t think you understand Howard if you don’t see the point here, particularly if you understand his relationship with Don Imus and the FCC. He is completely what he always despised. Howard of 30 years ago would do nothing but rail into the Howard of today. His career arc has absolutely been incredible with the amount of irony that has unfolded.

Stern is so inconsequential now that I didn't even know he had been quarantined for 2 years

The show died as far as I’m concerned at the beginning of 2015 when he had Ellen on. Ellen and Howard openly hated each other for decades, even where Ellen got Howard blackballed from hosting American Idol. Howard told the truth on who Ellen actually was behind closed doors, but in the end he became her. You know Baba Booey, Richard, Sal and several others really, really had to bite their tongues when she was in the studio. Artie also considers this the death of the show and has implied the staff he keeps up with were pissed when Howard was yucking it up with Ellen.

He was a mentally unstable shock jock who made money being lewd and having no talent. Somehow this inflated his ego to the point that he thinks people care about his opinions.

Covid showed that no amount of compliance by rational people can satisfy the irrational among us. This is also why reasonable people have become untrusting of medicine. The veneer of objectivity has been pulled off, and what we see now is the debased state of things. Just another business model built off of fear.

We really need sensible, robust leadership in this country/world. The people in charge are pandering pussies. It's a bad outlook for the world if that's what we've become.

A lot of older folks got mind blasted by the outbreak in 2020 - my parents went full hermit mode and still kind of are, they have been out to eat a handful of times and only leave the house to get groceries or go to doc appts. Its really sad that they've wasted nearly three years of their lives at home scared of the outside world because the media freaked them out.

I could listen to hours and hours of phony phone calls on Howard 101. Every now and then one will pop up that I haven't heard yet. They had one the other day and I was laughing so hard from it I was crying and almost got in a wreck.

They took a cut of John Hein rambling on about old tv shows and it was like he was calling into swap shop to discuss shows that he binge watches. The host was trying to end the call but John Hein just kept going on and on about Gilligan's Island. That shite is so funny to me!

It's funny because you remember the original show where the guys were talking about something, and whoever makes the cuts are masters at answering the radio hosts with the cuts.
