I think the death of the show was a bit earlier than that: when he married Beth.

That show was dog shite well over a decade ago

When I was traveling before Covid, I liked all of Sirius’ talk shows. Covino and Rich, Jim Norton, Opie and Anthony, Ellis, all of it.

But listening to Stern was just awful. Maybe I was too young when he was good in the 90s but I just found him to be an a-hole.

I specifically bought a sirius/xm radio to install in my car years ago just for Howard Stern. I couldn't imagine doing that now. I much rather being able to listen to music through spotify and podcasts for everything else.

yeah. the only time i listen to it is if i'm out in East Texas or on the stretch between San Antonio and the valley and don't have a podcast downloaded.

they've lost so much talent to keep Stern that IDGAF about any of the talk show hosts left.

Howard Stern doesn't care.

The day that changes he's no longer Howard Stern.

That changed long ago.

I used to listen to him on DC101. The day after the Air Florida flight went down he called the airline and asked how much a one way ticket to the 14th Street Bridge terminal was. He was fired the next day.

Ted Danson’s wife had just given birth and had a stroke when he had an affair with Whoopi Goldberg.

Never understood that one. He must have had a really bad case of the fever.
