How wrong is this? Sleep walking and sex.

Listening to 2GuysNamedChris morning show on the radio here in Greensboro the other morning, and they were talking about sleep walking. One guy called in talking about his roommate back in college one time slept walked out to his truck and drove 5 miles down the road and was found sitting by the rear tire of the truck.
The next caller said that his wife was an avid sleep walker and one time he got her to have sex while during one of her sleep walking episodes..
The DJ didn't say anything for a second and then finally took a deep breath and said in a half laughing/half oh shite voice, "Do you regret that now"?
The caller said he eventually told his wife what he had done, and she was pretty okay with it.
So the question is did the dude cross the line?
I have to say definitely yes, of course. That sounds pretty rapey to me.
The next caller said that his wife was an avid sleep walker and one time he got her to have sex while during one of her sleep walking episodes..

Nah not with your wife. I've woken up naked with mine and not remembered it. Typically alcohol related when we used to drink a lot when we were younger

Sleep walking is some crazy stuff I used to do it a lot. Worst thing that happened was I woke up once locked out of my hotel room one night

I used to occasionally wake up horny in the middle of the night and get it on with my wife who was a very heavy sleeper. She'd wake up and enthusiastically participate so I guess it amounted to ex post facto consent.

It's his wife, not a big deal. If I had sex with my wife when she was asleep she wouldn't care one bit when I told her.
