How would you solve the homeless problem in our cities?

Obviously the best answer is to open shelters that welcome them in, without conditions, and offer to take their cares away. Then subsequently grind them up into a nutritious food paste for hungry folks to eat.
Two birds with one stone!
But, since the FDA has yet to approve my "Feeding the Homeless to the Hungry" program (red tape. Ugh)
What are your best ideas?
Tell them that California's streets are paved with heroin and the fountains flow with booze and hope they flock there?
Whip them through the streets like a Krampus on St. Michalmas Night?
Send them to Detroit?

I dont see them as a problem so much as people I can run over with no consequences. I don't know what'd I do on the weekends if there were no homeless people tbch

I would make it illegal and put them in minimum security rehabilitation facilities....access to health care and psychiatric care, all done by residents and PhDs..create some kind of re-entry program to get them back on their feet.

We have so many programs to deal with homeless issues but most prefer to be on the street so they can use or drink.
Some cities have resorted to apartments where they can continue drinking.

There was already a guy who started bumfights.
