Thank your lucky stars he's not taking a crack break. Back when I was working shite jobs I worked w a dude who was smokin crack on his break. You can tell because it's that weird sickly sweet smell.
Anyway I couldn't find him and me and the other guy were like wtf is this mfer sleeping in the warehouse ?
Well lo and behold he was high out his fricking mind in the back. I was like ay man I'm not gonna tell anyone but you should go cause managers gonna be able to tell right away you high like a mf. Thankfully he did. Should have just smoked weed

I'm, TigerPawl, with the no fun police. You are receiving this letter as a warning that I'm aware you smoke the devils lettuce (Cannabis) on your work break. You sir are in serious violation of the "might be having fun at work" laws. You also have the audacity to smoke said lettuce in the view of the public. How dare you not only commit this heinous act but you are also doing it where citizens might see your ungodly behavior.
We at the no fun police view your action as very serious.
We will not allow you to make your own decision in regards to your use of Cannabis. Therefore this letter is to inform you if you are seen smoking weed again, you will be reported to police and Jesus.
Furthermore, we are at a lost of words for why you might smoke this terrible thing and return to your mundane job. This will not be allowed. I will make it my mission that you will be forced to suffer through employment on a even playing field as everyone else.

Because this board is full of highly successful folks that love to smoke weed, you'll be skewered until they are back to washing dishes.
Why not just tell the dude to his face that you'd prefer him not smoke dope right there?
I fricking hate weed smokers and their lack of respect for humans around them that aren't into their hobby. They do it on hotel balconies regardless of the presence of kids. They do it in hotel rooms regardless of no smoking rules. They do it by the pool regardless of kids. They do it while driving, regardless of common sense.
I presume Darwin will win out eventually.

You have lots of options.
Smash up a few glass bottles in a bucket and go sprinkle the shards of glass where the addict sits.
Get a target like we use at the gun range and draw an arrow to the bullseye and write “You”. Leave it where Toker smokes.
Send an anonymous note to the security at his workplace and tell them you see a guy go out to the tree daily and play with a gun.
Stuff like that.

According to your OP, you are planning on leaving him a note and not reporting his illegal activity. I am also curious how you know it is weed he is smoking. Perhaps he is just one of the weird guys who like rolling his own tobacco.
If you are indeed convinced he smoking a joint and you feel obligated to do something, call the cops or his employer.
Since this involves a stranger to you (I assume), unless you are a police officer, your responsibility is not to enforce the law but to simply report the infraction or otherwise MYOB.
