Until a cure is found, I suspect that restaurants featuring buffets are doomed - unless they have someone serving.
And, dang, I'm hungry for a Chinese buffet.

Lots of people will still be ordering to go I'm sure. People arent going to have the same comfort and confidence in going out for food and shopping for a while.

And the styrofoam ice chests don’t warp while they steam in Lea & Perrins with a heavy coating of Tony’s.
Your boil should be life-affirming.

Here's how to reopen a buffet restaurant:
Step 1. Put pump bottle hand sanitizers on the tables.
The end.

This guy.
You must be some unhealthy folks. Are you all seriously still scared to contract this virus?

Anyone under 70 who is still scared of this is scared of his shadow.

I hope they do great with business. Can't wait to sit in a restaurant with all of my fellow non-pussies who aren't scared of the Wu Flu.

Half capacity, tables further apart, everything disposable, nothing on the tables are what we are preparing for

I ain't gonna lie. I could go sit at Sushi Yama's sushi bar, tell the chef he's got free reign to send whatever he thinks is good and just go all fatboy in there right about now.

Reservations only- probably no "drop ins" for a while. I imagine most places will continue to do takeout, as they will have to limit amount of people in the place.

Masks, gloves, temperature checks for employees.
Reduction of seating by 1/2 or more.
No settings on the table. Single use stuff only.
Lack of full table service due to social distancing guidelines.
ETA: fricking sanitizer stations and bottles everywhere. More than anyone could ever need. Public perception means a great deal.
