Because it is a gas guzzling Nissan Frontier that was only leased for a job that has since ended.

Drive that Frontier to the test drive and no sales person will bother you because they won’t think you can afford a new vehicle.

I did at Steve Graves in Bastrop. I was doing a radio remote. It was a Camero with a v8 and straight straight shift. Lots of power.
They knew I couldn’t afford it because, well I was a loser (non-winner) radio personality.

Yeah, don’t be a pussy, go to the dealer, say I want to drive that, and when you’re done say thanks, I’ll be in touch.

After each test drive, just tell the salesman, "If I didn't have just six months to live, I'd definitely buy that car."

I don't understand the difficulty in going to a dealership and asking to test drive vehicles.

So you just need to go on a joyride or something? Not sure what’s going on here. Why are you test driving with no intentions to buy it?

Just go in and say you are trying to narrow down a car you are interested in and ask for a test drive. Then when you get done just say it’s not what you are looking for and you aren’t interested, make up fake reasons if you want.

Are you a two year old? This isn’t that hard, learn to deal with people.

Just test drive the car and thank the salesman and leave.

I have bad news for you: once you select make/model, the next step is to visit more than one dealership and let them try to outdo each other.

Maybe take your dad with you
