Been waiting till after the La. Supreme Court denied the rehearing and finally got access to post.

Reading the tea leaves, you probably lurked here and waited until after the case had exhausted its appeals to start posting here, so that way, the opposition would not be able to trace any posts on here back to you as evidence of possible impropriety.

names all have German roots dating to the late 18th century.

Did they call Louisiana “Das Boot”?

I just made it!

I'm in St George, my neighbors behind my house are in Baton Rouge.

No one is driving out there to support you. However, if your sales tax is lower than Baton Rouge, that would be worth posting.

Here a map so no one has to click the link.

I will expect the OP to support a gas tax in Louisiana. Because higher taxes means supporting your town, state, country.

So the sales tax rate in St. George will be 14%?

No. It will remain the same. I do agree the St. George mayor and council need to do a better job of explaining what the 2% vote is. It’s not a vote to add 2%. It’s a vote to keep the 2%.

Be prepared for the mayor, the Sadvocate, and others butt hurt by freedom and self determination to lie to you.

Get involved. That’s what the St. George organizers did and look at them now!

I literally built my following on lies or did you think "Real, Fake, News" meant something else?

EDIT: Wait, do you think The Sadvocate is against the St. George transition? lol

Understood. Thanks for clarifying. Interesting that the parish can now pass the buck for roadwork in St. George now.

They can’t pass the buck for the Greenlight Plan or the MovEBR plan. Each were defined bond issues voted on by parish voters in a parish wide election.

SG will be responsible for city streets. Not state highways.

Blue Stores on Jones Creek and Bluebonnet
Rouses on Airline for sure. Didn’t check the other locations.

I avoid St George unless I absolutely have to go there, which is never.
