That’s less informational than a session I attended a few years ago on saving $10mm plus on annual yacht maintenance.

That was a very helpful session at the annual family office awards in Houston.

Take it from me... this is so so so true.

For a small vessel, about 50 to 80 feet with room for eight guests, an owner would need two to four crew members,

Only if the crew were willing to sleep in shifts and the guests could sleep in bunk beds the size of submarine bunks. 50-80 just don't have that much space.

Dumbass. You sink the old one and collect the insurance money when you upgrade. That's how tax shelter money.

Seems like the act of a desperate person. Never really had the need for more money that badly.

A yacht that sleeps 80+ people isn’t even a yacht anymore. It’s a ship.

Find me a captain, a chef, a dishwasher, a server, and a bartender and I’m all set. I could probably make due with as little as the chef and captain. I can pour whiskey over ice just fine by myself

OT ballers don't donate yachts. That's silly. OT ballers donate money.
