I never said that. I said black students may not know how to play the game because they are not aware of it, not because they lack the knowledge or aptitude

The matriculation stats for medical schools broken down by race is pretty eye opening.

Yep, because hey, a LSAT score isn't everything.

He got a 155 and got into a top 8 school in the 2017 rankings. Smartest guy I know. Works for a top 10-15 firm and probably made $250k out the gate.

Yep

I believe you!

No im not saying that; what I am saying and the article is saying is that they may not know how to play the game within the game to increase their odds. They may not have the resources to take LSAT prep courses that little johnny who's is a second generation lawyer has. They have to work and go to school at the same time that takes time away from studying, which could affect their scores.

Ah, ok.

So people having to work their way through school aren't capable of passing the bar?

Ole SS. Has very low opinion of the average black dude. Always reasons why they can't do something.

I agree with this. It helps if you know someone that you can sort of look up to. Does not even have to be a parent. It could be a neighbor, relative, etc.

"If I knew then what I know now". That wisdom and insight isn't easily provided to the younger generation if the parents did not achieve much on their own either. There is only so much you will see or be exposed to outside the household in rural Louisiana or in an inner city. Kids with parents that are high achievers have a bigger world.

Any accomplishments are self-attained and independent.

Any failures are systemic racism meant to oppress people of color.
