re: How to manage fussy Baby?

Also what can help with the reflux and not sleeping in the crib is to adjust the crib/bassinet to a slight angle. Not too much so they slide around, but just enough so the baby isn’t flat on their back.

Be cautious with Zantac (liquid ranitidine for infants) to treat reflux due to the recent warning regarding small levels of a carcinogen in the medicine.
Taking Cara of Babies is a great video course and the guidance helped our baby sleep through the night starting at 3/4 months or so.

You are incredibly brave, or incredibly stupid.
Plenty of people here have experience with babies.

This.
And I question the letting them cry it out at 3 weeks

My first kid cried pretty much non stop from the time we left the hospital until he was 6 months old. He never slept more than an hour until 3 months and woke up at least three times a night until around 9 months.
None of the things people say - reflux, hunger, and whatever else - were the problem for him. Sometimes one of those is an issue for a fussy baby and sometimes not. Some babies just cry. He didn't sleep all the way through the night until he was 2 years old.
For the first three months I stayed up with him from 11pm to 6am while my wife slept and I slept from around 6 to noon.
Second kid slept all night the first day we brought him home and every night ever since. Some babies are just easy babies and some babies are Satan spawn and there's absolutely nothing you can do to change it.
ETA:
And get used to the helpful suggestions of feed him more, rock him, put him on an incline while sleeping, give him something for gas or reflux, book recommendations, etc. Some babies are really on a level beyond all that shite and people that haven't dealt with it honestly don't realize how bad it can be with a legitimately inconsolable baby.

We only let her cry out once.
Now the minute she shows any sign of distress, we immediately console her, and get her to breastfeed even is she is not hungry.

Tell your wife to cut out dairy or anything dairy like.
I've seen it a dozen times. Babies today, for whatever reason, are super sensitive to mom's milk if she's consuming dairy. As soon as they cut the shite out the babies started sleeping like....well, like babies are supposed to fricking sleep.

We tried the cry-out method, and she cried for 6 straight hours at night,
Good strategy, don’t give up. I’m serious, as long as she/he isn’t hungry or in pain let them cry it out. Crying is good.

. The only time she is not crying is when she is been breastfed.
I don’t blame her

Yes another possibility if not reflux is some type of milk allergy.

That's what the doctors told us.
Thanks for the insight.

Reflux? Gas? Do you rock her? Swaddling is important, as well.
Once you eliminate medical concerns, it’s probably a cycle of exhaustion. Feed, burping 1/2 way through bottle and at end, then rock until she’s asleep for 5-10 minutes. That should be deep enough sleep to not wake when you put her down.
Do you have a baby swing? Can be a life saver. Cry out method doesn’t apply with an infant that young who isn’t getting nearly enough sleep.

We order a sleep sack off amazon and it worked great. Ours in now 8 months old and had been sleeping through the night since she was 2 months

Merlin sleep suit is awesome once the baby gets a little older.

I feel terrible for you. Y'all may have to sleep in shifts until this is resolved. That way maybe you can each get some rest. Having a young baby is hard.
Try sitting in a comfortable chair and letting her sleep on you so that she is in a more upright position and see if that helps.

Sounds like a hungry kid.
You’ll need to supplement with formula. Happy Baby Organic is good stuff but at any rate, expect to try several different ones until you find the one that agrees most with your kid.
And DO NOT make the mistake of being your kid’s pacifier for them to sleep. They will “cry it out” for 3-4 nights then you’re free.
If the kid is sick, maybe a pack and play in your bedroom is ok. But sleeping in your bed should be avoided.
Also keep your house noise level a little high with music or tv. It’s miserable visiting houses where “shhhhhh”! Baby’s sleeping!” Do that and they’ll be able to sleep whenever it’s time and y’all can have a normal evening or during nap time.

My theory on the milk is that the antibiotics they pump cows full of makes its way into the breastmilk and wreaks havoc on the developing micriobiome in baby's gut. Gas, cramps, pain. It'd be like you taking a z-pack for a year straight, you'd probably be crying your arse off by then too.
