No queso at Chipotle. It's ok and I eat there, but Freebirds and Qdoba are better IMO.

And OP, find a good california burrito. They are literally everywhere and I love dem fries in it.

If I'm in baton rouge, no one is talking me into Chipotle over izzo's. It's inferior in every single way except price. If I'm going to get some shitty Mexican and get a greasy diarrhea I'll at least do it over some flavor.

Chipotle may actually be the most overrated chain that's existed in my lifetime.

Ate it once. Came out of both ends for the next 24 hours. Never ate again. To be fair, I had eaten Zoes Kitchen and am not sure if it was Chipotle or that. To be safe I don't eat either now

I love it. Big fat delicious burrito for $7.75 that I've eaten probably 100 times over the last few years and never gotten sick at all.

That's no lie. Why on Earth anyone from San Diego, Houston, San Antonio, LA, or any place where taco trucks and taquerias are ubiquitous, would anyone choose Chipotle? Chiptole has probably worse food quality, definitely less flavor, WAY more expensive, and is less convenient than the myriad of options staring you in the face everyday. I guess people who frequent Chipotle in those cities just like paying more for less...

I've eaten at Chipotle at least 200 times total in the states of Florida, California, NC, Kansas over the last decade and I've never gotten sick. Never had bowel issues with it either. Probably at least 15-20 locations in those states as well.

Freebirds is so much better

I've eaten chipotle once. It was a notch above moe's for the simple fact it wasn't cold when they handed it to me

I never eat there, I tried them once because they have a location downtown right next to the bank I go to. But it's always packed there and they have a bunch of good reviews on Yelp.

How long after you ate did you get sick? Digestion period is 24 hours. It's generally not the last thing you ate that gets you sick so you're probably full of it to begin with.

Think the same thing happened to me at Chipotle 3 years ago, and I took them permanently out of the rotation.

The problem with "sourcing locally" is making sure all the food is up to standard vs the mega farms that are watched like a hawk and have systems in place.

It's a neat idea if you don't mind sickening your customers every now and then.
