How stupid is Dana White for going with Bud Light?

For 6 years. They must have offered him a substantial amount of money because he’s going to lose some fans over it. I guess he figures people will forget about it pretty fast. Some companies can sell out to BL with minimal damage, I don’t see UFC being one of them. What a stupid meathead Dana White is.

Isn't it a 100 million dollar deal?
If people are soft enough to not watch a fight they want to see because Bud Light is a sponsor then that's their problem. Whatever that amount is, it won't make a dent.

A sausage fest of dudes watching two half naked dudes grab each other for a few hours on a Saturday night seems like the perfect markey for Bud Light.

Dana knows he isn’t going to lose that many and the people who leave because of this he won’t care.
The money made on this deal since BL was desperate will more than compensate for the loss of some sidewalk fans anyway.
Smart move by him.

Bud light has been a sponsor for forever, it isn’t a new partnership.
I remember when Brock Lesnar won the title vs Frank Mir Brock purposefully said he was going home to drink a “COORS light and get on top of his wife” while standing on the bud light logo in the octagon. Brock new even then bud light wasn’t it.

I doubt many people will stop watching UFC matches because of this. I also think few people will purchase Bud Light over this. So Dana gets free money and nothing else changes
