It’s their platform; play by their rules.

Hopefully the average ticket buyer is smart enough to play with the filters. I do, at least.

It says recommended seats lol

I dont take recommendations often so I always filtered to all.

What are the options for dealing with something like this?

This is borderline deception/fraud. Which is illegal

frick all the ticket companies. Also, Amazon does something like this. If you search for something, depending on what it is, the price can be different than when you looked at it a few days ago. Different as in higher. There is a filter to search for the cheapest price available.

Yes they just show the lowest priced tickets in each section making it look as if the selection is limited. As a seller and hate this.

StubHub also refuse to refund Sugarbowl tickets after it was rescheduled due to the attack in New Orleans. Apparently their policy is they will only consider a refund if the event is canceled.

Yeah its been like that for some time you get screwed if the event changes time and you can't make it

I sold tickets about 2 years ago and it took almost 3 weeks to get my money from them. They blamed their servers were getting updated to improve the usability and their customer service. I haven't used them since other than when I do check pricing

The first time they bought them on SeatGeek and was $100ish with fees. They saw people buying them at the gate so they told us that’s what we’d do this time. Was only about $60 for the same priced tickets buying them at the gate right before the game.

Can confirm, especially because we may be hosting a playoff game on April 15th. Just go buy them at the gate unless you have a specific group you're trying to get with in the lower level. Saves a lot of money.

Yeah, I wanted to see Billy Joel and Sting. They were playing together in Salt Lake City this May. Well, Joel just got sick and they rescheduled the fricking thing to May 2026! I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars of tickets no one is going to buy till next spring to see if he even makes it back. He's still scheduled to be with Stevie Nicks in the Superdome in Oct. But who knows if he will recover in time for that one?
