I have a Dyson stick vacuum that in my opinion does a much better cleaning than my old vacuum. It’s also pretty handy to deal with any bugs that may find their way inside. Well I saw a wasp moving around on a window and the stick vacuum didn’t do shite. I had to check that it was actually working. It was and still it didn’t move the wasp at all. So I smashed it with a shoe and then vacuumed it up no problem once it was dead.

So how strong are wasps? That they’re able to resist the suction from a vacuum at point blank range?

When it comes to suction, many female WASPS just flat out can't be compelled.

Can someone tell me what purpose on this earth a wasp serves? I get most of the nuisance insects. Bees fertilize, snakes eat rodents, spiders eat smaller insects, etc. But a wasp? What the suck do they contribute to our ecosystem other than stinging me? Same with a hornet. frick 'em all. End rant.

They eat some pests like aphids. Still hate them.

Wasps eat aphids and nectar and are excellent pollinators just like bees.

Most wasps don’t bother you too much. It’s those mother fricking yellow jackets that are Evil Incarnate!

Odd ...had my leaf blower out yesterday and found a wasp on a nest. Turned it on full blast and he never budged.

I was shocked at first because I had what I thought was a suitable weapon to combat the beast only to find out it was totally useless I can only imagine what that feeling must be like in legitimate combat scenarios.
