How pretentious is your family photo Christmas card?

They start rolling in about now...whole family all gussied up in white on the beach. I get a kick out of these things, I'm sure the Shutterfly folks do as well.
Ours is a very close up picture of my son's face. It's not pretentious, but I could see how it could be taken as a 'look how cute (I think) my boy is' photo. IDK, these things are tough to get right. I don't hire a photographer and it's not staged past 'boy go wash your face' so I think it works.
Let's make it simple, does anyone in yours have knee high leather boots on?

because I'm pretty certain my wife is wearing her high boots in the pic she is putting on ours, but that is just what she wears this time of year...

No, but I didn't want to get wrapped around the axle about what is pretentious. Every one we've received so far has leather boots, so I was just making a random comment. I like the Han Solo look.
