Is that the "ask around about me" speech?

It's my job to know as many people as possible.

Now my GF, well, she's well known around the city/region because of her job. I swear, we'll be somewhere in the middle of no where like Bunkie or whatever and someone will come up commenting on stuff she's worked on. It's weird but oddly satisfying because I'm proud of her and her career.

And no, she's not a traveling stripper or anything like that.

I don't know how to tell you this, but I'm kind of a big deal. People know me. My apartment smells of rich mohogany. I have many leather bound books.

I didn't think grown-ups referred to themselves as "popular". I thought this term was limited to junior/senior high school students...

Want to guess how I know you aren't now and never have been "popular", Larry?

I'm the only white guy for 100 miles, and nobody speaks English. I'm waving and shaking hands with people all day. Could be worse, it's pretty fun.

I'm pretty well known in my small hometown, but it's nothing to brag about.

Pretty much everyone knows my uncles and grandparents.

Everyone recognizes me anywhere I go but no one is ever happy to see me. Probably the whole black robes and sickle thing

I'm popular in three states. Because of the shear number of people that want to shake my hand, I prefer to dap.

I guess I'm fairly known. Anywhere I go I always know people and have people come up to me that want to shake my hand.

And yet Richard Simmons and Rosie O'Donnell would stop draw a bigger crowd. This is the world we live in.

Tacking a decade onto my age.

You'd never guess my age if you met me in person.
