The most important thing is how much his sister Braeyleighlynn love watching her brother..I just know she won't mind the family using her college fund for this summer's clinic. It's gonna pay of when Braxtonn Collyn makes it

There's no need to consider if anything you've said is true because it's irrelevant given that those children would be in the minority. The majority of children would still be affected by the opportunity cost of the their spending endless amounts of time, with the accompanying financial implications, on a pursuit with little ultimate benefit.
I was pointing out the ironic part of it all is the kids that usually make it didnt have to "pay the price"
You can remove the incredibly large stick from your anus now
ETA: Or insert the stick if it being removed is what caused your anger

Not really. He can legit afford it and enjoys seeing his daughters happy. Scruffy should know better than to make blanket statements like that.
Your story is HIGHLY unlikely We're talking about $273 a day every day for an entire year.
Youth sports are expensive, but come on, I'm gonna give you a lesson your father should have given you.
Son, when youre sitting around shooting the bull with the guys, it's okay to tell a fib, every motherfricker sitting around that table is embellishing somewhat to make their story sound cooler, and so no one is going to call out another man for fibbing, but if you outright lie, and tell something that is completely unbelievable, well you're gonna get called out.
You're being called out.

Sorry, Scruffy just can’t see how that would ever make sense.

You know, at some point these posts are incredibly unfunny. I think we hit that point a few pages ago.

say this as someone who played a lot of sports growing up. I was incredibly fortunate that my parents got me involved in a lot of other things. Probably because I'm innately interested in a lot of things, but they were receptive to that and encouraged it. A lot of parents are disappointed af when their kids aren't as serious about sports as they want them to be.
Yet you continue to repeat that kids that play baseball have zero other interests.
My kid plays baseball. He goes to church, school, hunts, fishes, soccer, plays in the neighborhood. I just don’t get your insistence that all kids do is play baseball. My son hasn’t touched a base all since the last week of June.

Take your complaints up with the parents of Quaedynn.

Have a kid and have the means to provide that for your kid. Scruffy's vision might improve

You should get them on the team with Slayden, Paxxxton, Traxton, and that kid with the weird name, Christopher.
I mean, seriously, why do parents give their children names without x, y, or z these days?

sorry, but making fun of these insufferable parents will never get old for me.

Scruffy will not spend that sort of money on youth sports.
Hell, Scruffy is trying to determine how any of his future children can play youth sports without doing the stupid travel ball waste of money and time.
Kids need less structure and the opportunity to be kids.

I have a co-worker whose kid was a decent junior high football player - started tight end, would get some snaps at QB. The other kids caught up to him and he became a backup, then a third stringer.
He switched to lacrosse because he thought they would have a better chance at a scholarship. There are like 8 teams in Mississippi and Louisiana combined, so the area just isn't taken seriously. They spent north of $10k sending him to college camps every other week this summer in Colorado, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Only one college even showed a bit of interest - a Division III school that is at the bottom of their conference. No scholarship because its Division III, but he gets to say his son is a college athlete.

My SIL still did plenty of "kid" things, but I definitely get where you're coming from.
