re: How old were your parents when you were born?

Dad was 24(2 months from 25) and mom was 21.

I was 34 and the wife 35 when we became parents.

Depends on the parents. Some need to be older(late 20's/early 30's).so that they're mature enough and others are mature enough in their young 20's.

Just the opposite of my Father. He was preceded by 4 sisters and the youngest.

My mother was 20, my father was 21.

They weren’t married either…. So I guess I’m a Bastard.

All of their kids were out of the house while they were still in their 50s.

I'm 61 with 2, 16 y/os...

Dad had just turned 25, mom 24. They had been married 6 years. Exemplary parents. They realized they got it right on the first try and had no more kids.

My husbands parents were 19 and 20. Also very good parents. Divorced after the kids were grown.

27/26. My mom was a fantastic mom.

I’m glad I had my kids young so they could grow up with her around.
