If you are still skating at 27, you are too old to stop. You have to keep skating forever.

"Hey, old man, why are you skating?" "I want to stop but can't. Too old."

Well man, I'm 40.

I still can kick flip, shove, 3-shove, front big and a bunch of other lesser known feats.

All on features, too.

I ride at the BREC park and still can also drop into the mini-half and both pools.

I don't believe I'm a freak of nature or anything, I'm just fit and have been riding for 20+ years.

I'm also still pretty nice on snowboards and wakeskates.

Keep on keeping on.

Never was a good skater, but still do endo's and bunny hops on my mountain bike. Could never figure out how to "Ollie" on a board. Almost bought a 26" Haro Master throwback a year ago or so, but never pulled the trigger.

<---------just bought a long board for cruising. Arbor groundswell, Indy Stage 11, and my old Santa Cruz Bullets 92A.

Arbor is aight.

Santa Cruz still makes some of the best boards (and completes) on the planet.

I'm genuinely surprised there are this many skateboarders on this board. Wouldn't have guessed that.

I think the cutoff date is... 37. But if you turn 37 in September or later you can continue until you turn 38.

Too old to stop? Or too old to keep riding?

What are you asking?

We don't stop because we get old, we get old because we stop

I'm
35 and still skate, still train and compete in BJJ, and still spar with the youngsters who are fighting mma

Why do I skate/snow/wake?

Feels like flying.

See above.

Why do you care, do what you makes you happy and don't care what people think.

I swear this board is full of "boundary" ignorance, stop worrying about what is acceptable and do your thing!!!

How old is too old to start? I bought my kids 22" penny boards. I took one out late one night and it was awesome (I skied, snowboarded, wakeboarded, it's relatively the same motion). I've been trying to decide a Arbor Fish, Pantheon, or just go all out on a Loaded ever since.

Penny boards are sorta squirrely for a man.

I've ridden them and honestly they suck as cruisers or longboards because they aren't big enough.

I seriously doubt you bombed any hills on that thing.

You should get a longboard. Real long. Not a 22" Penny.
