I don't typically set one. I generally wake up before 730 every day.

LSU doesn’t have the funds to compete with that kind of circadian rhythm

My freedom dog says good morning each day a little before 5. I feed and walk her, read Dandy Don at 5:30, and then scan the news here and gear up to go make a living. No alarms necessary, she has a mental clock.

Prior to retirement I needed one as there were many 12-14 hr days, or some days where 2 hr naps were all I'd get.

NOW.....When my body says "Are you going to get up and do something? I'm tired of this bed!"

Same here brother. Alarms are for people without personal discipline.

I truly can’t remember. I wake up at 3:45AM automatically almost every morning. My roosters start crowing at about that time also.

Set it 5 days a week.
Wake up before it goes off about 2/3 of the time.

I set my alarm 7 minutes early and use the snooze. Gives me a little time to gather the willpower.
