Wait until you get old brother, apparently all zen energy you need to grow your hair transfers to your toe nails and finger nails and you only need haircuts once every other month but toenails clipped weekly
Then one night, I tore the sheets sliding into bed

It’s just easier to let them fall off. Finger nails is a different story since visible.

I cut mine once a year whether it needs to be cut or not.

About every 2 weeks. When I look down before a shower and I notice they’ve grown a bit, I clip them real quick. Probably about every 2 weeks. I don’t let them get long at all.

My caregiver does it about every 3 weeks for me.

I bet you're fat aren't you? Probably don't clip them because you can barely reach them.
For me, once a month is probably the interval.
On a related note, I have a friend who's grandfather saved all of his fingernail and toenail clippings in Country Crock tubs. He had been doing it his whole life and lined them up on a shelf in the garage. The dude had like 70+ years of clippings just sitting up there in several butter tubs.
It was so weird that the family was scared to ask him why.

I have to get mine done every 2 weeks bc of tennis. Otherwise, I end up with bruises under the nail or, worse, losing the toenail from the sharp starts and stops in running.

I don't ever clip mine, technically speaking, as I don't use a nail clipper. The nails are pretty soft when I get out of the shower and can just peel any excess nail off as I'm putting my socks on.

Every six weeks or so I have a cute Asian girl cut them for me.

I’m prone to ingrown toenails, so as little as possible. I usually have to throw in the towel when I’m doing yoga and they start grossing me out.
Also when my socks start turning into Swiss cheese.

A long, unsightly toenail is worlds better than an infected ingrown nail, especially if you have to cut and pull that puppy out.
