I have a beard so my shaving is generally just confined to my neck. I generally change blades based upon the lubricating strip. I'll change the blade once it's pretty much dried up. That is about every 3 to 3.5 weeks with the Schik cartridges I use. The blades still cut the hair fine, it just starts to drag on my skin a bit more.
DSC would be a waste of money for me.

I shave every weekday. I use Dollar Shave club, so I switch blades about once a week. Before, I would go about a month with a Gillette razor. You x
Can make them last as long as you keep the blade clean and dry.

About 8 months ago I bought a Dorco handle with 12 6-blade razors for just under $20, I switch one out about once a month.

I tried Harry's and was disappointed in the quality of the blade. 1 week max on those blades and even then I didn't like them.

My normal routine is to shave on M / W / F unless a clean shave is needed for a special event on one of the no-shave days. I use Gillette Fusion blades and change them out every third week.

Every 3 or 4 shaves but I have a tough beard and it reeks havoc on razor blades. I buy Mach 3 cartridge packs when they are on sale at HEB so it isn't to costly.

Used to get a week out of them (disposable or DE) at most. Now I keep a small jar of Barbicide to store the razor in between uses and I get several weeks easily.

I take mine out of the handle and clean it after I get done shaving. It does help them last longer.

I only shaved once in ten years, and that was for my grandmother's funeral. But she used to give me crap about my beard, and I figured it was what she'd have wanted.
