How often do you change email addresses?

I've had my personal email address for over 20 years and the junk emails are a PITA. I know my email address has been sold a gazillion times.

Had a hotmail account in jr high/high school (no longer use)
Then my LSU student account (no longer use)
Then the same gmail account I still use for personal stuff.
And my work account for... work.

I have a "spam" one that I use to sign up for stuff and an actual personal box that I only use for job apps or with other people, etc.

Haven't changed since college in 2008. Even then my email was basically the same with me swapping out @mycollege for @yahoo.com

I've had the same Gmail account since 2004. I have a burner Yahoo account that I use to sign up for things.

My gmail account is going on 14 years (i believe) and the spam is minimal. The Yahoo account I migrated from that I still keep alive is ridiculously infested with spam. I mean its unmanageable

If you want to keep your current email address just start marking what you don't want to receive as spam, after a couple of weeks of doing it you will knock 90% of the crap out.

I've got 4 or 5 emails addresses.i use for different purposes.

I got Gmail back when it was by invite. 2004 I suppose.
My hotmail from '98 is still active but everything except the junk that still comes in has long since been purged. Shame too, I had some... nice things in there.

I've had the same Hotmail address since the late '90s, but I'm seriously considering shuttering it soon for that very reason (and a few others).

I have had my Gmail over 15 years, it does a good job with spam. Wife has Yahoo, it sucks with spam.
