And my family eats out every lunch and dinner during the week and at least two breakfasts.

This is even crazier than the old folks who cook the same meals every night

My wife and I split a half off pizza every Friday. With a drink for me it ends up being under $20. Other than that it's maybe once early couple of months.

Dinner as a family - handful of times per year. Wife has food allergies.

Quick stops at fast food for my son 4 or 5 times a month

Lunch at work 2-3 times a month.

Just too expensive and high calorie for doing too open

I get my fix of meals eating out when I travel for work and expense it.

The company or client usually expects to pay for it. I know my daily meal allowance when I traveled was $75/day 15 years ago.

Wife and I will go out to eat once a week on a Friday or a Saturday. We get tired of cooking and would like to sit down at our local places here in Oxford.

Same here. Two dinners and the third will be over the weekend: brunch or lunch.

I make my breakfast and lunch every day.

Half a dozen or so. About that many more run pick up something and bring it home.

Sometimes my wife just wants to sit down and get waited on. Occasionally I’ll want some chicken (fried, wings or fingers).

I can’t get a better steak than I cook, and mine is a lot cheaper so I end up doing that a couple nights a week.

Quality when eating out is definitely down across the board. Still ok in a few places, which we tend to frequent when we do go out.

I just realized that I only eat whatever my wife puts in front of me. Even before if she goes out of town every blue moon, she prepares meals and leftovers for me to eat while she's gone.

I still eat out quite a bit but agree with other posters saying that overall quality and value is way down vs pre covid.

For 21 meals per week probably 12-14 are made at home with the other 7-9 eating out.

Ellick

Edit -- The restaurants around here that people rave about are nothing but deep fried garbage aside from 1-2 places.

You’re trying to write this as some sort of brag but it’s fricking pathetic
