I just spent $1400 to get my Tahoe fixed so that I can spend the holidays on the road visiting family.

Wife and I don't give presents to each other.

I'll probably spend less than $600. Kids need to learn it's not just about presents.

$250 per niece and nephew? You're very generous. Ours get a $30-40 gift. At some point that is getting cut out ie out of high school or college I guess.

Eta I need to read before I reply. Husband and I don't often do the gift thing or it's a joint type gift.

Bought my wife a new Lexus and my son asked for me to give his Christmas money to charity to help out puppies

Santa on the other hand still has to
shell out so probably another grand for wife and kid from him.
