So he paid for his "disability" for a while. Now, he claims to be milking the system for everything it's worth and doing his best to rub everyone's nose in it while basically living on welfare. Like, I said in a previous post, "I don't know why but for some reason I'm picturing 911 with a Swingline Stapler and a "Jump to Conclusions Mat."

More than the median U.S. household earns and less than Hillary makes per speech.

The worst part about it is I just wrote a 12k check to cover what I owed.

About 35K and still owed another grand, getting a grand back from the state so broke even I guess you could say. My taxes are waaaayyyy to fricking high and the fact I can't deduct one red cent for my kids now is crazy.

It's amazing how ignorant so many of you are about disability insurance. Do you people carry car insurance? Do you make a claim and allow the insurance to pay for it if your car is damaged? Now how many of you have disability insurance? It costs about the same to insure your livelihood as it does to insure your car (and I hope your annual income is greater than the cost of your car) . Likewise, you can't insure an income that you don't have. If your employer pays your disability insurance, your benefits are taxable. If you pay your premiums personally (thus with after-tax dollars), your benefits are non-taxable. And if you have an own-occupation policy, you're still "disabled" as long as you can no longer continue in that profession, even if you can work full time in another profession. And believe it or not, they investigate cases VERy thoroughly before they'll pay you a dime. Imagine that. if you think you can fraudulently collect disability insurance, give it a try and see how far you get. In fact, the inverse is true - there are hoards of lawsuits against these companies for failing to pay legitimate claims.
And in my 20 years of practice, I paid more taxes than most of you poors would pay in 2 lifetimes.
You're welcome. :

Seriously though, it's amazing how many of you idiots don't carry disability insurance.

Even more will draw more out of those programs than they ever put it. That's not a "tax" baw. That's a handout.

Exactly. My wife's loser cousin doesn't do shite but sale that scentsy bullcrap. Reports nothing to the government and gets back right at 10K every year in EITC. The fat bitch wants for nothing, her and two little welfarkins have housing, utilities, food, cell phone paid for on top of getting a damn check every month. Bitch gets a new car every two years and takes nice vacations every year because she has no out of pocket expenses. Chick has more disposable income than I do.

Wants to make me throw-up.. Has anyone run a statistic on the break-even point between having a job and having welfare in america. EI you are better off having 2 kids and being unemployed vs making $40k/year
