Exactly. I bust my arse make 6 figures, pay for insurance, retirement, taxes, put back for kids college, wife works, makes maybe 40K. We get hammered at tax time and make too much to deduct anything except miniscule shite and mortgage interest.

But are you fortunate enough to live in new orleans with the pot hole free and crime ridden streets that your tax dollars paid for..

Nope. I live in the country in SW LA. I wish I could uproot my house and move it to NOLA and sale it though.

And in my 20 years of practice, I paid more taxes than most of you poors would pay in 2 lifetimes. You're welcome. : Seriously though, it's amazing how many of you idiots don't carry disability insurance.

I carry short and long term disability. I'm not exactly sure the limits but isn't something like 60% of your pre-disability income short term and 35% long term? The issue is your attitude about life. Insinuating that everyone should have disability so they can get hurt for a while and subsequently abuse the system in perpetuity while buying terrible cars for their family, giving advice for "poors," and living disability check to social security check. Your e-persona simply suggests you suck at life and you aren't nearly as financially superior to everyone on this board, not a student or recent graduate, as you think you are. You've mentioned before you were physically capable of working again but you don't. Thank you for driving my insurance rates up and sucking on my social security teet all the while having the work ethic of a parasite. At the end of every day, you must feel fulfilled and proud that you've shown all of us and your kids how to get ahead in life.

Yeah, you completely fabricated this statement, a-hole. And where did I insinuate that anyone should abuse the system? And you can insure about 70% of your income long-term. Or at least you could 25 years ago when I bought my policy.
Go ahead, keep fabricating shite about me if it helps ease your jealousy.
You NEED to fabricate this falsehood in order to mask your inferiority - you can't hang in real life so you create an alternate reality of me that you can feel superior to.

I've lurked this board since before you started. I'm not going to wade neck deep through your shite to show that you've said you could work but choose not to. In this thread alone you said, "just not in your former profession." You're a former dentist as I understand it and if you can physically do as much as I've seen you claim throughout your post history, you are absolutely abusing the system.

45% claw every penny of it back, PLUS EITC if they are eligible.

Almost half of Americans pay no tax at all.

No, you're not going to show it because it doesn't exist, dumbfrick.

Trust me I am glad you were responsible enough to get great insurance but I would bet you also get some kind of goverment disability and bragging that you do nothing to help America when you live here makes you seem like a loser, just saying.

So you're suggesting that when you've gained some sort of tax exempt status via the laws of the IRS, you ignore it and pay the taxes anyway?
I paid social security and medicare taxes at the MAXIMUM rate every year I worked - for 20 years. And I paid more in income taxes during those 20 years than the overwhelming majority of Americans pay in their lifetimes. The government is the one that decided that disability benefits are non-taxable when the policy is purchased with post-tax dollars. Not me. For you to suggest that anyone would pay the taxes anyway might be the biggest troll ever attempted on tigerdroppings.

I would bet any amount of money that I pay more than over 90% of TD pays in individual taxes and I am glad you did, I am just saying you shouldn't gloat about paying taxes for 20 years when that will probably end up being 20% of your life.

No, I don't need to because everyone here has seen enough of your comments' to know that I'm right. Shall I also research some of your initial posts that were also talking about being divorced once, multiple kids, on disability, smarter than everyone else, and trying to choose between a new Porsche and a Mustang GT for his son?

What does the OT think? Supreme douche or oblivious idiot?

When did I deny anything about being divorced or buying cars? What relevance does any of that have to the other statement you fabricated? You can't show it because it doesn't exist. No one else can show it either, because they know it doesn't exist. It's amazing how clueless you are about how disability works.

ETA: ...and thanks for bringing up that thread - it was some of my best work. For the record, I ended up going a tad over budget. I went with the Mustang GT w/ 50th Anniversary package and a Jaguar XJL Portfolio.

Seriously, you have to have more pressing things to worry about than that. I mean, to give any thought at all to something that trivial and useless is a complete waste of time.
