Don't replace it.
Best move I ever made was discontinuing the use of my indoor plumbing. For millions of years we've been using the bathroom outside. Only for the last 100 years have we been trying to go inside. And guess whats increased in the last 100 years? Suicide, obesity, mental illness, cancer, lack of religion and I could go on.
I've never felt better since I made the switch back to what God intended.

Toilets are not something you go cheap on.
Get deep, long bowl with powerful flush. And like people said, thick wax ring (or that other thing mentioned which looks cool).

Tell a mexican outside of HomeDepot you'll pay him $30 to put in a toilet. I guarantee one of them will take you up on it.

I hate the internals on some of the Kohler toilets. I’ve had better luck with the American Standards. If you want to go commercial Sloan isn’t bad.
