it's the chick-fil-a standard. if they provide more of a service than CFA, i tip. less than or equal to CFA, i dont.

If I bought coffee at coffee shops, I’d probably tip a dollar if they’re extra nice since I’m pissing away money for coffee anyway, otherwise nothing. But I never buy coffee from those shops

This. I'm also not tipping if I called in an order and go to pick it up. I tip well at sit down restaurants though.
ETA: I also tip male servers/bartenders significantly less than female servers/bartenders. Hows that for a wage gap

I am not a big coffee drinker, but I can't believe people who are and drink daily go buy it at the cost it is now instead of making their own.
Coffee makers have a timer on them right? Set it to start making coffee so it will be ready when you leave. Poor a cup, put the rest in a thermos and you will likely save a good bit in a year,
