17 plus tip. Which is just a plain haircut. I've been to fancier ones like boardroom salon in Nashville. Occasionally I'll go to get a more expensive for a very detailed and stylish option.

I just to Clydes beauty school and get it cut free.
Looks like shite but the price is right.

In Houston/Katy we have these folks called asians. They have less interest in chit chat than you do. All about volume. Just go straight home and wash the hell out of your hair. The Clippercide is just for show.

I pay $20 and listen to the barber, Ed, discuss his daughter, who is a whore (or so he says), as well as he and other patrons discuss the current racial issues of the day. There's little disagreement among the those present as to what the issues are.
Ed has a .38 in the drawer, but he doesn't charge extra for the security.
Joe is there on Wednesdays and he's a Roffler Toupee specialist, if you're old and like that.
They've recently hired a gal named Audrey to work there. She's pretty cute, but her arse is the size of Montana and a small family of Chinamen could stay dry in a rainstorm by standing under it. If I have to wait on Ed to finish a haircut before starting mine I often contemplate exactly how Audrey's arse got so huge when the rest of her isn't that large.
Long story short - the whole experience is $20, but I don't how much of that is for the service and how much is for the entertainment/education.

All in including tip, about $115, but I only get it cut every 6 weeks or so.

Nah, but it's kind of a trendy men's salon in mid-town Manhattan. I do think it's a little too much, but they do a really good job.

Um.... what?
When you do the math, it's not all that much more than the Barber that I used to go to, which cost $35 per haircut. I used to have to go there every two weeks.
