As a waitress at Chris’? Honestly would have expected those numbers to be a lot higher. Teenagers new to the workforce working at fast food joints are making $300 minimum on those hours.

As a teacher, its sad to think how members believe our job is easy, part-time, or over-paid. If you know a teacher personally can talk to (or do research on what responsibilities of a teacher are), then I know this opinion would change. Not to mention, how LA teachers are the lowest paid in this region (by $1000s by the way)
Teachers were always treated that way once social media became a thing, one major reason being the complaining, despite having more time off than most other jobs.

Then 2020 happened and, when people were clamoring for reopening and kids in schools, teachers, particularly public school teachers, flatout refused.

There were even teachers placing tombstones outside schools that wanted to open up.

Not all teachers, but many of them, and all teachers unions really showed their asses, hurting their profession’s reputation.

And that wasn’t just a teacher issue. It happened in the medical field too. Many nurses and doctors impacted the reputations of their professions through tiktok and other social media.

I bartended at Superior on Government through college and then 3 months full time while interviewing for sales jobs. I was on pace to make $50-$55k had I stayed full time all year. It was such good money I worked weekends once I started my first ”real” job making $35k salary just to keep my income up (God I hated that job)

Servers/bartenders at Ruffino’s, Ruth’s, Gino’s, Superior etc. all probably do very well. Especially when you have regulars who consistently come to sit with you

The daughter is selling the .0000001% chance that if you tip her she will blow you.

Old teacher woman can't do that

There are a lot of great teachers that put in a lot of hours at home and put their own money back into their kids. They are dwindling though.

Still a better chance than getting a good tip from those teachers

Lol. No he doesn’t. He has made $400 before on a Saturday and claims that is what he averages. Servers are notorious for lying about how much they make in tips.

This is correct. Thar is why my previous post assumed a good night. Not a Monday day shift or the last day fo school when the teachers show up to drink, act the arse, and not tip

Bored so I suppose I will weigh in and bump this thread.

4 - You guys undervalue number 4, severely.
6 - I dated four attractive young black women. When they sex you up, they not just doing it for themselves - they representin'. Got something to prove. She's not the prettiest but damn sure you won't forget her.
3 - Innocent blonde, my life-long weakness.
1 - Reminds me of my second wife, just not as pretty.
2 - Sort of a toss-up with 5, but my blonde preference wins out.
5 - solely by default.

So here is one that includes a candidate for the Aggies.
