Saw on Facebook that Walk-On's waitresses in Lake Charles make a higher hourly pay than Teachers in Lake Charles. (The poster is a teacher and her daughter is a Walk-ons waitress)

I'm just curious what's the standard pay in the breastaurant industry.

I know waiters at Ruth Chris or Commander's palace make good money, but I can't see Walk-Ons.

Can't find pics of her daughter so here's this.

After the last 18 months, the waitress absolutely should make more.

I'd say $18-$22/hr.

Ppl in hospitality under report what they make to the government.

Yet, will inflate numbers when talking to other people.

Even if they do they aren’t working 40 hours and sure as hell don’t have the benefits

Teachers also don’t work nights and weekends and get a shitload of time off and retirement and other benefits.

Those waitresses don’t get a pension or Cadillac insurance. They pay social security tax too.
