How much do you stand to lose if you hit a school bus?
Posted on 12/11/25 at 9:16 pm to O
Lots of uninsured motorists in Texas as well.

I always had the bare minimum but then my buddy who used to work at insurance told me he has 500k medical liability coverage. God damn is this the norm? I pay 1200 a year
Why are you too lazy to create an alter? A few months ago you told everyone about your Porsche. …Now you’re complaining about $1200/yr for minimum coverage?

Never have made a claim. No accidents.
again...this is how stupid both you and fare play are
so what happens when you get in a wreck and its your fault and the guy sues you because you have minimum liability coverage? especially when it comes to health
so lets say you hurt someone, and you have the minimum 15/30/25
Bodily Injury Liability (per person): $15,000
Bodily Injury Liability (per accident): $30,000
Property Damage Liability (per accident): $25,000
do you think hospital bills arent going to be more than 30k if you hit a car with 3-4 people in there and hurt them seriously?
lets just say its 1 person and they get hurt breaking 2 legs....how much do you think the hospital bill and ambulance ride etc will be? more than 15k I can tell you that...who pays for that extra? not the victim....you do and you will be sued and lose and you will have to pay out of pocket
but hey you are saving money to retire early and pay cash...so you do you. but dont be mad when you lose it all because you were a dumbass

didnt you know man...even at interest rates way below inflation...its smart to pull cash out of an account making 4-5% interest minimum to pay cash for the car
you didnt know? man should have asked someone much smarter with money like Babytac

Used to work for State Farm, ended up leaving because I felt like such a scum calling and asking another grown man for money all to give me a check.

I drive defensively and not like an a-hole. Main reason I’ve never been in a wreck and never will esp one that’s my fault.

2 things can be true. I’ve driven that car 500 miles since May.

There's no way you're this fricking stupid. No way. You have to be trolling with your constant work/money/neighbor dragging her balls on my face posts.

This thread is full of people that have so little confidence in their own driving that they carry coverage above the minimum

you are not asking them to give you money, you are selling a product and a service.

Just didn't sit right with me. Not saying anything's wrong with it or the people that do it, just me personally I couldn't
Posted on 12/12/25 at 10:14 am to BabyDraco1499
so I assume sales is not your thing then?
nothing wrong with that. It was never my favorite thing either, but i was really good at it in the industrial arena. I didnt like it though, luckily havent had to do anything of the sorts in over half a decade.

Babytac saying he pays cash for his cars as the reasoning behind carrying minimum liability is peak dumbassery.
