Plan on getting tutors if this thing keeps them out of school till August? Just curious. My in-laws act like they are on summer break but I think they will either repeat or be way behind if they don’t go back before August.

My kid is doing online classes right now. She's in the 7th grade though. I'd imagine that would be more difficult for the little ones.

Getting a tutor isn't in line with social distancing brah.

Central uses Google classroom so each morning my kids login and get their assignment for the day. They go to my mother in laws every day and she makes sure they get their work done. I'm anticipating the school year getting extended but don't see them having to repeat.

If you need help understanding something or how to work a problem out take a picture with Socratic on your phone or use WolframAlpha. Those are both really good aids

Sounds like a business opportunity for me.

My wife and I are both teachers. We’re doing the homeschool thing with outs, but I imagine a lot of people teleworking will need something.

That Zoom app seems to be pretty good for something like this.

No tutoring, no repeating. Kids got work from home packets and online conferencing with teacher daily. It’s gonna suck but we’ll make it though mid May and be ok.

Won’t everyone be in the same boat? I’d imaging they will adjust the curriculum to accommodate the modified schedule
