I know a chick who has been married twice - neither lasting more than about a month. I believe she's recently engaged again.

A relationship should be convenient imo. You should compliment each other and make your lives easier but it isn't always easy. So do you rise up to the challenge for each other or quit and walk away.

Love isn't enough skin in the game?

I used to believe that too.

Turns out it isn't.

More like "with debt do us part".

I should also add that in just about any marriage I would be the one who has something to lose financially. I don't want someone to roll off with my money.

Married/divorced once. I'd get married again to my current bf some day. But, my ex is going through his 2nd divorce right now. If I were to get married again, I'd do it for life. Divorces are horrible. My mom is on her 3rd marriage.

One is the answer. Do it twice and you deserve to go to hell.

I have been married several times, but the last 2 worked me over pretty good. I have been ruined financially, but feel good about the future finally. The one I am with now is the ONE. I can feel it.

I couldn't care less how many times other people go through divorces, but for me one time would be enough.

My current gf of a year was married twice before me, it doesn't bother me because I know her well. I've never come close to marriage before.
