I was thinking somewhere around 3 or 4 lessons a week. Also if the guy giving lessons didn’t at least make rookie ball before having tommy John is it even worth it? TIA

3/week plus every weekend travel ball and fall ball starting at 5yr old! Then he’ll have a 2% chance of making pro!

what about the big barrel bat? I heard if you don’t get him one by the time he’s 7 he’ll never be able to hit like Freddie freeman

what's funny is if your kid was 7.

if your kid could actually swing a bat.

if your kid was partaking in such teams...

you'd have your kid a big barrel bat.

As for as the guy giving lessons, there are a lot of former college players out there who didn't make it in pro ball offering lessons. Don't worry about how much it will cost, just take his advice when he tells you the amount of hours he will need to work with your kid.

In no time you can have all the travel ball teams who are looking to fill up a roster calling you to see if your kid can play.

You will find some grade A coaches in travel ball. Rarely will you see a coach show bias towards his kid.

And remember, travel ball is all about the kids. It a billion dollar industry because most kids who play at least makes it to some level in the pros.

if you’re serious about it I’d advise you to get lilbaw preemptive Tommy John surgery now.

I’m young enough to have lived through the shite when it first started about 15 years ago so trust me I’ve got the experience

If he hasn’t had Tommy John surgery by now you’re already behind the 8 ball.

Better go two a days now to catch him up.

nah. you're out of touch. you don't have any parental feelings involved. your opinions don't hold any substance.
