The death rate was really low but there was no panic over hospital overcrowding or forcing people to wear masks. 60 million is still a lot of cases.

Umm - it’s made developed nations look like third world countries.

The Wuhan Pandemic is just as smart as the other pandemics with higher rates of fatalities.

Might want to check on that math.

If 3k/day then ~1MM/year.

If 3MM/year then ~8.2k/day.

Swine flu isn’t nearly as deadly as this. Not even close Swine flu killed like 12k Americans

We have a vaccine. How many die without one? How many more get infected and still have to deal with the mild flu without a vaccine?

Nah fam, the flu is deadlier, weve just had a head start on it.

The medical terminology of the word Pandemic has mutated with the fallout of societal distress. Economic collapse adds to the death toll. The world wasn’t connected enough in 1918 to have the complexity that we have now. Half of the aisle say it has been real since it began and currently is - the other half will say it’s not a big deal or that the worst is over.

It’s an awful reality that the weakest (& I do not intend disrespect with that word) are most likely to succumb to the disease. But to look at the world in a morbid way, the next world war will likely kill tens of millions of people under age 35, (and then likely the entire human race),

Catch 22 (film not novel) reference
It’s better to die on your feet than to live on your knees / it’s better to live on your feet than to die on your knees.

So, Approximately 3,000 people a day die in the US. So that’s roughly 3,000,000 a year

Yet the total number of deaths has actually been less than this time last year.

Use your critical thinking skills and report back. For your theory to be accurate, we would be averaging 10K deaths a day here... we're not. more like 7200. Last year - 7700.

It'll take actual pandemic numbers for this to be considered a pandemic. We're simply relabeling deaths as something that it's not.
