ryde with Louis Pasteur on this one.

The pasteurization process kills a lot of the nutrients that naturally occur. Ever wonder why they have to "Vitamin D added"?

Maybe you should.

Many people that are lactose intolerant can drink raw milk. Ever wonder why?

I just don’t drink milk very often at this point in my life and don’t own my own cow.

$9/gal for regular raw milk, they have A2A2 raw milk and heavy cream too but those are a bit more.

Walmarts in the south leave their milk out in 90+ degree weather for over an hour. It spoils the milk. I just want milk tasting milk.

Never. Growing my dad, 2 degrees in dairy science and worked at dairy experiment stations, would never let us drink raw milk. Said only if you see the udder and milking parlor it comes out of, too many chances at bacteria and disease.

I grew up on a dairy. Dirt poor but drank about a gallon raw unpasteurized milk every day until 14. I’ve never broken a bone in my life. I called into work one day in 20 years.

Because I got in an accident on the way to work and my car could no longer get me there.

My anecdotal experience. I wish I had ready access to it again.

If you're in Kenner, there's a farm not too far in Kentwood:

Jarrell Brothers Dairy
