too many in the country are way too fat.
This isn't just an issue isolated to the US. I spent last week on Isla Mujeres, Mexico and saw plenty of overweight people who weren't Americans.

I'm in the minority here, but most of my family over the age of 35 are in decent to good shape. Minimal fatties outside of a few cousins.
I have a cousin who was drop dead gorgeous through her mid twenties. Had her first child and blew up like a balloon. She must be pushing 200 # at about 5-4. Sad.

Metabolism slowing down is a bitch.
Studies show that gaining weight as you get older is mostly attributed to lifestyle. Metabolism slows very minimally unless you have some kind of special condition that would cause it. People gain as they get older because they go from being on the go, to being at home more often. From working in active jobs, to sitting behind a desk all day. From sleeping late or occasionally skipping meals, to waking up early and having more downtime to eat more food.
I was tiny as hell when I was ~21, and I thought I was "eating whatever I wanted" because I ate burgers and fried seafood every day. But I was sleeping through breakfast, walking a few miles across LSU's campus every day, burning a good bit of calories waiting tables for ~6 hour shifts, and my "bad" food was not really in large portions.

my group is 50/50 actually but my extended family and friend circle bumps this up to about 85% fatties. on my moms side which is poor, its more like 98%. It is disgusting how far gone some of my cousins are. Sad part is they think it is awesome and brag about it.

Falling testosterone levels are most certainly a big contributor to higher body fat percentages in men 40+ years old. To maintain 12% body fat in my 20s was pretty damn easy, now I have to put in more time in the gym and eat much cleaner to maintain that level.
I could also stay lean at 230lbs, now it’s more like 210.

control happens but its the right wing who claims that god made rules we must live by and to accept the whole thing on faith.
Control. Confession. Control.

I was a fat baby but skinny as a rail from about age 3 until I graduated college. I started to gain weight more easily around 2014 after I had been working for a little over a year.
About the only thing I do differently then to now is not walking to class every day. I don't think it makes "that" much of a difference.
I was around 140 then and am about 165 now. I did have gallbladder surgery in 2015. Poor fat digestive both before and after surgery may have attributed to my weight gain. For about two years, I have ate much much better than I did previously.

But do they believe in Chem Trails?
My older friends generally don't understand that chemtrails are a proven fact.
Some of my friends who are my age do.

I can count on one hand the number of adults I saw who didn’t have fat backs.
The 30A area this time of year is full of visitors from high offending states.

I would not have expected you to be that naive.
There are chemtrails and that is fact.
And I'm normally very open minded.
