just walked through the attic to check for leaking vents and such. Sounds like hell. I can see the big windows flexing a bit.

Gonna be a long night in Slidell. I hoping the water doesnt come up fast once the backside of the storm passes by. During Zeta, the water in the canal behind my house rose almost 7 feet in less than 20 minutes. If it does that again im gonna flood.

Appreciate the updates guys, it means more than you realize. I'm going to see if someone from our neighborhood stuck around to check on our house tomorrow.

Dont know. I live in Eden Isles and have water in my backyard. Its not too high right now, just covering my dock and bulkead. Im anxious to see what happens once the wind changes direction when we get on the backside of the storm.

My pleasure. I’ll be able to give you a better idea of the damage in the area tomorrow morning.

It’s gonna be a long night. They are saying that our worst weather will be from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am.

Any update from old mandeville area?

59 and Florida.

Some smaller trees down in the neighborhood. Power has been out for a few hours. I lost a few sections of old fence, no surprise.

With the updated forecasts over the last 24 hours, I will take it. I expected worse.

...I know it's not over yet. But will the intensity be much greater than the last hour?

I just got a text from my dumb arse boss saying we could wear jeans tomorrow. I think I may be coming down with the China flu. Still have power barely but, Charter went out about 20 minutes ago.

frick. Is this the slowest moving hurricane ever or am I tripping? I have neighbors on 3 sides of me with trees on their houses, an electric pole just snapped across my driveway with wires everywhere so I couldn't leave if I wanted to, and the worst is still to come?! God damnit.

Do you have any updates on the surge? Height over the bulk head?
