How many of you guys have buzzed haircuts?

Buzzed haircuts are awesome.
Very low upkeep, they look cool, you don’t have to use a ton of shampoo, they help you to not be so hot and sweaty on Louisiana summer days, hats fit on your head easily, don’t have to comb your hair in the morning, etc.
the list goes on and on.

Checking in with the high bald fade. A retired Marine cuts it for me.

With the exception of military types, are low/high bald fades mainly a Louisiana thing (Ala Just 4 Him, etc)?

2 on the sides and back, blend it with scissor cut on top.

I’ve buzzed mine every May for about 20 years now
Feels real good when the weather heats up

When I was going to Ranger School in ‘89, cut my hair really close, as it would be several weeks before I could get another.
It never grew back. I was only 23yo, been self-clipping ever since…

I do no guard about once a week or so. I’m done in 5 minutes then hop in the shower.

I got sick of my hair while in the void between Christmas and New Years and did a #2 buzz. Kept it for about 2 months then started growing it out again.
I used to do that at least once a year (if not keeping it as standard for certain stretches) but hadn’t buzzed it since 2018. My wife strongly dislikes it.

Not military, but I usually go with the 1/2 clipper guard. Easy and uniform. You can do yourself.
I usually like short hair. I can’t stand long hair sometimes I would get headaches if I let it get too long.

Yup. Shaved it bald in December and haven’t looked back. I kept it shaved for 10 yrs when I was younger, so I knew what I was getting into.
A freshly shaved head by a barber with razor is one of the best feelings
