Isn't it f*cking awesome.
When I first entered the workforce, you not only needed a suit and tie EVERY day (there were no casual Fridays), but your shirt better be freshly dry cleaned and pressed. And, your shoes had to be polished and looking new or you'd get a few comments from the bosses.
Think about all the money that you save. I do feel a little sorry for all the mom-and-pop dry cleaners. Their business has had to take a beating. I used to spend at least $15/week between getting my shirts starched and at least one suit (or the 5 or 6 I had) a week getting dry cleaned.

I tie a tie once and just loosen it to fit over my head each time that I wear it.

Depends on the construction of the tie. If the tie has a decent lining, or if it’s textured like a grenadine, a full Windsor will look clownish. But it’s a good knot to make less substantial ties look like more than they are.
