If the stock market is closed, my office is closed.

I don’t take it off. My firm shuts down. I’ll take it. Didn’t used to close down but once other firms started closing they had to do the same to remain competitive.

I’m off. I always make a day at the gun range.

I've had this one as a holiday for a while. Worked for a large bank for a while, but my employers prior to that never took MKL as a holiday. Current job does, so I've got a 3 day weekend. But I'm also an accountant in January so I'll be working some.

It's a day on, not a day off.

Alabama got Robert E. Lee day. Probably split by now. Does MS still offer the option?

how have you been here since 2018 and not learned Gaucho's Schtick yet?

Company holiday for me.
In Alabama, it's a combined state holiday, celebrating Martin Luther King and Robert E. Lee.

I have something due Tuesday so Monday is likely to be a 16 hour work day. Gotta pay those taxes.

Nice work if you can get it.

Dr. King never said to take the day off. I will honor his legacy by working and providing services to all.
